- Budja peasant: Above anything else in the world a want a radio.
- Dubonnet: What are you talking about? I have no radio. I do not need one.
- Budja peasant: That is different. You have chosen to be poor; I have not. You are content to be poor; I am not. Tomorrow you could be rich and possess a radio, if you want. But even if I hope all my live, I have no choice; a radio will never be mine, unless I steal it. My poverty is real - yours is not.
- Dubonnet didn't had an answer for the Budja peasant.
